These consist of a load cell and the matching mechanical installation kits. In this way, an optimal introduction of force or load into the load cell is guaranteed – and thus the most accurate measurement possible. How to choose the right load cell:
In most cases, large containers and silos are stored on three or four feet. For an optimal measurement, we recommend placing a load cell under each support point. For this, the total load of the container is decisive: i.e. the tare weight of the container plus the content weight. The nominal load of the individual load cells is determined by the number of load cells installed: For example, if it is a silo with a four-point support and a total weight of 400 tons, each load cell should have a nominal load of up to 100 tons.

For signal evaluation, signal processing and the connection of the load cells to the process level, we offer corresponding electronic accessories with all common interfaces. This means you are well positioned in any case – regardless of whether you need a measuring device for small or medium-sized tanks or a huge silo.
Safe and accurate: gravimetric level measurement
Measurement via load cells is one of the most accurate and reliable methods of monitoring filling levels and material consumption. This way, only the exact amount of a material required ends up in production; and all processes run more efficiently. The big advantage: the measuring device does not come into contact with the respective substance. Thus, on the one hand, the material to be weighed remains free of contamination – and on the other hand, the weighing device remains accessible from the outside at all times.
