The inspection covers mechanical, electrical, and safety-related aspects and is intended to prevent accidents and hazards during operation. The crane inspection is based on DGUV Regulation 52 (“Cranes”), the Industrial Safety Ordinance (BetrSichV), and the Technical Rules for Industrial Safety (TRBS).

Our SKS series rope force sensor is the perfect solution for continuous load monitoring and the detection of over- and underloads on crane hoisting ropes. The sensor can be retrofitted with minimal installation effort and without any modifications to your crane’s hoisting mechanism, allowing you to safely monitor loads. An integrated amplifier generates a noise-immune 4…20 mA measurement signal that can be transmitted over long distances to an evaluation unit. A redundant version (dual-channel) with 2 x 4…20 mA is also available as an option. When used with Primosensor display units and limit switches, such as the DGS4116S002, the load can be either visualized and/or the load can be shut off directly.
