2-fold digital limit switch for DIN rail mounting DGS 4116 with 4…20 mA-(2- and 3-wire) input for Primosensor force transducers and load cells.
The 2 potential-free relay contacts and the 4…20 mA analog output enable the realization of a multitude of monitoring tasks for force and load measurement. Typically the DGS 4116 is used for overload detection in cranes, hoists, storage and retrieval machines, conveyors etc..
Due to the galvanic isolation between the field circuit and the control circuit, it can also be used as an isolating transformer.
In addition, the limit switch has a line break and short-circuit detection with corresponding error message via the LEDs on the front and the relay contacts.
In combination with the plug-on or removable LCD operating and display unit (DGSZ4510), the device can be parameterized and measured values displayed very easily. A display is essential for
parameterization, but is not absolutely necessary for subsequent operation in the application. Relevant status messages are then displayed via the LEDs on the front.As display units for forces and loads kg / t / N are selectable. The parameter set stored in the operating unit can be password protected and loaded into any device of the DGS4116 series.
